Our philosophy is this: to care for your business holistically. It's important for us to understand who you are and what your business is all about so we can provide a personalized level of service. Think of us as an extension of your team and your financial friend. What matters to you matters to us.
Our all-female team comes from a variety of backgrounds. Each of the Bloom staff brings a diverse skillset to the company. These women are moms, entrepreneurs, and many are minorities as well – our diverse perspectives help us to look at your business with fresh sets of eyes.
In addition to our internal team, we collaborate and consult with an all-female team of outside vendors. This multi-disciplinary team of professionals includes investment advisors, insurance agents, business consultants, and more who are experts in their field. Therefore, when you come to us with a question, we can leverage our expertise to help guide you in the most advantageous direction. Additionally, we can foster introductions if you need further assistance.
We customize what we do based on the person behind your business – no one-size-fits-all approach here! We go deeper than surface-level bookkeeping. Instead, we work with you to transform the numbers into meaningful information, therefore helping you make sound decisions. We are here to help you – and your business- get where you want to be.
Unsure of where to start? We work exclusively with small businesses and can help you figure out what you need to save yourself time so that you can focus on what’s important – serving your clients!
How many people do you know that look at numbers and think, “Yes! This is great! I can see a story here.”
Chances are, I’m the first one.
When I see numbers, I see meaning. Small businesses are an extension of people’s personal lives. When I get to help my clients with their small businesses, it’s impactful to them on a personal level.
As one of those people that loves crunching numbers, I enjoy helping my clients find meaning in theirs, whether through bookkeeping, tax preparation or simple conversation. Small businesses are more than just businesses – they’re an extension and reflection of people’s personal lives and values. Helping my clients manage and understand their numbers truly is impactful to them on a deeper, more personal level than you’d think.
It’s funny – I never aspired to be an accountant but rather fell into it when my father-in-law introduced me to his income tax and real estate business back in 2007. I’d always been business savvy, and he saw how much I loved working with people. When my husband decided to take his career in a different direction from the family business, I stepped up and have never looked back.
From part-time freelancers to seasoned entrepreneurs, Chicagoans to people as far away as Japan and Germany, families to small businesses, I’ve had the pleasure of working with some incredible people over the last decade. I’ve loved watching clients take the plunge from the 9 to 5 grind to small business ownership and maximizing the time they get to spend doing what they do best. Helping my clients grow, thrive and succeed reminds me of how much I love what I do and energizes me to find ways I can support them even more.
I’ll be more than happy to have a chat with you about anything from bookkeeping and tax prep for your business to your personal goals. If you’re interested in learning more about what I can do to help, shoot me a message at firstname.lastname@example.org. I can’t wait to learn more about you, too.
“At the end of the day, I love helping people grow. I get to give people back their time as well as their confidence in making sure their businesses are airtight.”
