We hope you had a wonderful holiday season with friends and family and were able to take some time to rest, reflect and celebrate all of your highs (and lessons learned!) in the past year. We wanted to take a moment to share our own reflections via our very first newsletter before we wrap up this year and dive into the next. Here we go!
A Year of Gratitude
2019 has been a very busy year for us and thanks to you, our mission to prove that we are more than just another accounting firm has been paying off! By entrusting us to ease your “number pains,” we’ve hopefully helped free up your time and clear your headspace to focus on doing what you love – you know, the fun stuff that took you on your small business journey in the first place!
We’re humbled and grateful that you’ve spread the word about us amongst your friends and colleagues. You’ve introduced us to so many amazing people with whom we’ve formed invaluable business relationships and personal connections, and it gives us the warm and fuzzies to know that our work has been meaningful. Thank you for all your kind words and referrals – high fives all around!

Speaking of impact, all of your referrals have ramped up the growth of ZP, which has allowed us to expand our team! Our goal from the very beginning has always been to provide quality business services to people like us – hard working entrepreneurs and small business owners who are passionate about the work they do. So, to help us maintain our personalized, high-quality service, we’ve brought together a diverse team of women who are just as committed to understanding you and your business as we are. Every staff member is committed to being accurate, efficient, within budget and on time – so don’t be shocked by that 3am email that might grace your inbox. Embrace it, knowing that we’re taking the time needed to focus on you!
But don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere! The expansion of our team allows us to remain visible and accessible to you regardless of who’s assisting us. You’re a real person to us – not just a business – and we are fiercely determined to maintain the same level of dedication to your business’ growth no matter how our own business evolves. We will never be too busy or too large of a company to extend our personal touch in all that we do for you.
Looking Ahead in 2020
You didn’t think we’d end this without talking about taxes, did you? Nobody likes to think about it, but tax season is right around the corner…do you know what’s needed to close out your 2019 books and get ready for 2020? Now is the time to get us involved if your QuickBooks is looking a little neglected; you need a year-end review to double check your bookkeeping; you want to discuss any changes in your business or personal finances; or if you have NO idea where to start! By taking care of these things now, you can rest easy knowing that we have everything we need to save you both time and money when it comes to filing your tax returns. Then, tax season will be a breeze!
